I get Gillette Mach 3, a pack of eight will last me a year, sometimes a lot longer if I'm hard up. I don't like shaving everyday or even every other day because I end up with lots of cuts, prefer to leave it a few days, the more stubble I have the less cuts I get.

That said, maybe the country would be in an even worse economic situation right now if it wasn't for all you vain people valiantly propping the razor industry up!

My razor of c.2000 vintage has a noticeable layer of dust on it if you want that.

Shave once per week on average and gets about 6-9 months from one Gillette double-blade.

I use Gillette Fusion, but do find them to be massively expensive.

I use each blade for a couple of weeks or so . . . until I am down to my final blade which miraculously lasts for a few months.

Amatuer, one of my razors can last a good 2 years!
