Sherbet Fountain

If you are really interested in the history of confectionary, which, as it turns out is about as dodgy as it gets, might I recommend the following book:

Sweet tobacco is still about, in fact i have some in the cupboard, it's just sold by the Quarter Gramme nowadays

Not an old chocolate, kinda recent really but i wish Mars Dark was still being sold far better than the normal version, it was like a large dark Milky Lunch

Nooooooo- sherbert dipdab had a red lolly in it, and the one with 3 compartments was a Double Dip- one orange flavour, one cherry and a swizzle stick to eat it with!!!

Erm.......should I be ashamed at my knowledge of confectionary?????

Now I remember, thank you - used to love those. Why be ashamed? Sweets are important (which is why I'm now on my bike making up for a lifetime of them

I remember those sherbet dips well. Sometimes the sherbet would go down the wrong way and you'd almost choke. (sorry H & S!) I used to love those flying saucers too. Still like them now in fact.
