^Mine doesn't and I've been using that setup for years.

Not doubting you but know that I had problems with the 105 10 speed cassette and the 11 speed freehub on my Fulcrum's. The only way I could get the set up to work was to use the 1.85 mm spacer that came with the wheels and then add the additional 1.00mm spacer that came with the 105 10 speed cassette. If it works for you keep at it. :okay:

What type of cassette? Shimano 10 speed cassettes are narrower and come supplied with a 1mm spacer, which also has to be fitted.

Depends on the hub.

11 speed cassettes are fairly new and won't fit on a 10 speed hub. Most wheel manufacturers now use an 11 speed hub that can take an 11 speed cassette or a 10 speed cassette with a spacer behind it.

And the correct answer is............................It depends on the hub. Fits like a glove and indexes like a dream with just the supplied 1.85mm spacer.

Thank God for that as otherwise it meant a 24 mile round trip to my LBS if I'd needed a 1mm as well.
