Shimano 4600 shifter compatibility

I have 4600 shifter and short cage rear mechs on my Genesis and want to move from a 10 speed 28T to a 32T or 34T cassette. I have the option of a free 105 5701 long cage or Tiagra 4700 long cage mech.

Will there be any compatibility issues with either of these mechs

the 5701 mech will work fine. Tiagra 4700 is an oddball that uses 11sp actuation ratios, therefore won't work with Tiagra 4600 or any other 10sp stuff.

I think the 5700 rear mech and 4600 are near identical, the 4700 uses different pull ratrio.

I half remembered that there were some compatibility issues with 4700 so it looks as if it's going to be the 5701.
