Hi folks. I'm probably like alot of cyclists at the moment in relation to sourcing new components, I'm afraid the covid situation has affected supply. I'm looking to replace my 50 tooth out chain ring (shimano 105 5800). Apparently every supplier has none in stock. I'm wondering if shimano ultegra 6800 Chain rings will fit straight onto my 105 chainset as they a both 4 bolt and 110 degree. I've emailed one supplier who says no. But I've seen alot on the Internet that say yes. Has anybody got the correct answer. It would be most appreciated. Thankyou.

They fit fine - so do Tiagra 4700 just the colours will be mismatched.

The R7000/R8000 series will too but you'll have bolt caps looking odd as well as the colour difference.

Also worth looking at are the Stronglight chainrings at Spa - they are compatible.

Edit: Stronglight do a Zicral chainring I'd forgotten about so are a drop in replacement. Removed irrelevant info.
