Shimano centre lock rotors - are they interchangeable?

I have a pair of Shimano RX31 centre lock wheels to replace a set of wheels with a 6 bolt rotor fitting.

I know I can get an adaptor to fit 6 bolt rotors to a center lock hub, but can I buy any centre lock rotor (of the right diameter) and fit it to the center lock hub?

Calipers are Pro Max cable actuated if that's relevant.

If you are asking will a centre-lock rotor fit on a centre-lock hub(?), then the answer (unsurprisingly) is yes. Unless I've misunderstood your question?

Both those are centre-lock rotors, so yes they will fit on centre-lock hubs(!) The origin of the caliper itself should not be an issue, as the spacing is industry standard, not shimano-specific.

Many thanks. Appreciate these are basic questions, but my last experience with disc brakes was of Hope Minis 10+ years ago and things have moved on since then!
