Hi can anyone help me please does anyone know a video to help me take apart and service these type of shifter the spring in the bottom part is not springing the shifter back many thanks for any help or advice given

Other than taking the top off (as you would to change the cable) and squirting some WD40 in there isn't much you can do. Are you sure it isn't caused by a fubared cable though?

You're both sort-of right, I think. That's not the current generation of EZ-Fire which does indeed go boing in a bad way if you unscrew it... DAMHIK but we did manage to get it back together. I think it took four hands and some clamps.
