Hi can anyone shed some light has this freehub sheared from the axel there's a mangled bit of metal inside the wheel . It was slipping with any slight pressure and looks knackered

Whichever way looks like you’ll need a new freehub or at least the internals. Shimonoseki should be easy enough to source.

Yeah I'm with you on that , for some reason I think there should be a spindle in the end of that hub and I've ripped it apart funnily enough it started slipping after we went through a daft deep puddle so I've only myself to blame
