Shimano R400 brake levers rattle

Does anyone have Shimano R400 brake levers? I saw some reviews on amazon, it seems to have good reviews, only it seems to be hit and miss if they rattle, I've bought a pair but It looks like I've gotten the rattley ones , I've put a blob of grease in both levers it seems to have stopped the rattle, has anyone had the same problem with a different solution?

I used Sugru, the wire hook (?) on the rear brake rattled as I run without a rear brake so it wasn't under tension. I'm getting the same issue on my Cane Creek SCR-5C's.
