Shimano RT81 shoes

Shimano RT81

Has anyone got a pair of these? If so, are they any good or too much of a compromise?

I have the RT80's which looks exactly the same style but a different colour. I find them fine for summer but as they have a mesh on the toe area it's cold for winter, nothing that overshoes don't fix. The best part about the shoe is the ratchet tightener as Velcro will get less effective after a while.

Nice and comfortable and very easy to walk in when you dismount the cycle,

+1 I too have the RT80.
Plenty stiff enough to get the power down, but you can still walk without doing the road shoe shuffle.
Nice shoe for summer, bit cold on a wet winter commute though - but they're the only shoes I own ATM.
