It should be a fairly straightforward job to swap the hanger over - but it is worth checking that everything is ok with the derailleur once it has been put on as well, the lower cage could still be a little bent as the hanger is primarily to save the frame rather than the mech necessarily.

Fitted the new bracket tonight, straight forward the cage was bent, so thank you for that,

but the chain is foobar'd it's twisted not sure it shows up in the photos but it is quite bad, it will not run through the jockey wheels, new one on order for tomorrow.

The technical term for that chain is "FOOKED".:laugh:

How the hell did he manage that!
He said standing on the pedals going up hill & changed gear
Can I have it back please? Oh, and can you at least give the applicator a quick wipe down.
Unlike when we received it, but it's been licked clean.

Back on track, I bought new hangers for each of my two Ribbles a few weeks ago. Put the new ones on and put the old ones in my saddle bags. I know they fit and how they fit if the worst happens out on the road. :okay:

Still waiting for the chain which was ordered Tuesday on an arrive by Wednesday which then overnight morphed into an arrive by Thursday
