I know shoes are a very personal thing, so what works for one may very well not work for another. I'm trying to decide on my first set of clip-in pedals and shoes. I've been into a store and tried on some M088's and worked out my size.
What I can't work out is how I should decide between the XC50 and the M088. I can tell that the M088 is not as good for wet weather performance (A concern where I live!) but other than that, I can't even find a comparison of the various elements of the Shimano MTB line.
As an adjunct to this discussion, I also need to decide on a set of pedals.
