shipping a table

Hi all,

My sister has bought a dining table on ebay and its fallen on me to arrange shipping, its miles and miles away so a courier seems sensible, but who would you use? Ebay recomended shiply which seems like a sensible site but I'm looking at 70 quid plus a 12 pound shiply fee to use :s

Basically are there other options? I've used parcels to go before but nothing came up for the dimensions I put in :s

It might be cheaper to hire a van.

Shop around; UK domestic freight is incredible cheap and there are empty trucks bombing around the country chasing loads. Phone some local trucking companies.
