Shirts with no pocket

Why? I mean office/work type shirts. I need the pocket to carry my mobile and access card around, at work.

I had a devil of a job finding a couple of shirts in my size, in Brighton on Saturday. Eventually I resorted to M&S.

Why has the breast pocket gone?

Sadly, usually cause some git at one of the top fashion houses has decided so and it's filtered down to high street stuff as now being fashionable and then you'll have a whole host of stylists and magazines telling you to buy it cause it's fashionable.

Ditch the phone and put access card in trouser pocket. Everything is sorted and life will be much quieter

We had the opposite problem last year with a theatre show. We couldn't find men's white shirts without a pocket.

I'm sure all the dedicated followers of fashion will be getting rid of their one-pocket shirts asap, so the charity shops should soon be full of them!

Try buying female clothes* - hardly anything has pockets - often even trousers don't have pockets. mutter, rant...

Some of my (male) colleagues once showed up at work in full drag - one of them was in his fifties, balding, corpulent and sporting a bushy moustache, quite an eye-opener . I think it was for Comic Relief. I chickened out...

But I take it, that's not what you were implying in your post ...

Of course, a decent shirt wouldn't have a pocket. But, for everyday usage a pocket's pretty useful if only for stashing the Mont Blanc
