We want to cut the first day shorter (concerned about the level of difficulty ) but are having trouble finding a place to stay overnight . Are there B&Bs or campgrounds in between King Harry Ferry and St. Austell?

How hard is that first day fryom Land's End to Fowey?

OK, so resurrecting an old thread, but have you ever used the internet? A very quick Google maps search shows 7 campsites on that route and 11 B&Bs in Mevagissey alone.

you asked a few questions then never came back
To be fair, Jay, they asked questions, came back x times for a month, saw absolutely zero answers (and we can infer why that might be - lazy question) and have not been back since.
Taking the line to Fowey is one of the harder options heading west, but enjoys the quiet roads of the Roseland peninsula. My route choice would be this (via King Harry ferry):

I have taken almost exactly that line/route from Fowey to Penzance (as part of a 600) (note only 1235m climb (on RwGPS)).
