Must admit i was tempted to just swap it for a chromed one as i rather like the way it almost colour matches

Ouch!! Can't beat Tange chrome headsets for bang per buck..

I like the Tange Falcon best - looks vintage, but it's light alloy and has cartridge bearings which appear to be the same as 1" Cane Creek ones. I even replaced a Dura-Ace headset with a Falcon. Sacrilege, I know, but one works and one doesn't.

Thanks Mike and to think the original owner who i got it from had it hand made all those year's ago , and used it to set some club tt & hill climb records on and then just cast's it aside for a stable of cabon fan dango's .
