That is quite a nasty incident but it leaves several unanswered questions to which why did she have a loaded gun in her purse and what happened to the safety catch ? I do understand that the USA have the fifth amendment which gives them the right to keep and bear arms etc. Ok firearms do need to have controls in place and i for one think that the UK's are fine as is.

The one about wearing T shirts is the Second Amendment, not the Fifth. That's the one about not incriminating yourself.
