Should I buy a Brompton?

I purchased one of these for about a tenner, very well made.
You can play around with all sorts of luggage combinations, a " quick and dirty" fix would be to cable tie a supermarket shopping basket to the adaptor 👍🛒

I wish I could have known about those before I cut, glued, clamped and shellacked layers of 1/8" plywood to make my own, although mine included a bag sized backing that allowed bolting on the bag. Truly a crude and ugly piece of work although still working after 8 years.

No idea where the desire has come from, but I really want a brompton.

But I don't know what to use it for?

I've got a commuter for the 6 mile work trip, and a roadie for the weekends - so why should I get a brompton?

My wife has done a lot of eye rolling...

I wanted one for ages, I don’t drive and used a commuter bike for many years, I love my Brommie and my wife also now has one, fun to ride, just a great bit of kit!
