I know this isn't cycling but i was out today doing a 10m run in training for the Great North Run.
I am sure i felt my trainers go a bit squishy as though the sole had lost some bounce.
However is 30 days and probably another 35 miles enough time to break in a new pair of trainers or am i looking at blister city

I'd say 'Blisters' at the very least

The theory/usually accepted practice is 500-600 miles per pair, before cushioning dies (fell-shoes are different, bugger all padding)

sounds like new trainers. Being on the large size I start getting knee pain and shin splints after 300-350 miles.
