Should I have confided to my wife?

My girlfriend, whom I don't live with, always criticises me for being on the forum, but it's just bloody fine for her to be on facebook!

She refers to me as another sad cyclist!

I'm fine as I was long separated and then divorced before I got into cycling, so I only have myself to answer to now. No-one to nag me and tell me that I spend too long 'gittering about' doing things that I enjoy.

Mind you Dayvo, if only that lovely blonde young lady we saw on PfS would join the forums, I'd probably break my vow of batchelorhood in a second. Perhaps that's what wives & girlfriends worry about - gorgeous cylists who may tempt their other halves

Mrs Cube has recently wondered why i spend so much time on the computer. I don't really want to go into detail about how much I can't bear the drivel being "played unto our eyes" to coin a phrase, or how I am perfectly content reading about cycling. She thinks I'm obsessive about most of my pastimes anyway. So, in order to avoid the mockery, I tell her I'm logging onto a new glut of "left handed websites":

www.hardcorefastingnuns.com, www.womeninwaterproofs.com, to name but a few she thinks I'm looking at.

This is getting quite depressing....used to work in Coatbridge and know only too well what a Coatbridge bedsit is like. Wipe your feet on the way out!!!!
