The Police have said the dog was not the french Mastiff in the photographs. It was another "pitbull" like dog?

It says Dogue De Bordeaux in my newspaper and has pic of girl with the dog.

I'd love a dog more than maybe my ribble, well maybe not but close but because I neither drive or work close to home plus I can't afford £200 a month for a dog walker each day. I just imagine me and pooch in the pub suppin a pint.

I love the comments on where people say "dogs are just animals and don't behave as humans". I must be the only one thinking thank fark for that.

I would like to see exactly how this turns out and as to what actually happened.

Dog did what it's supposed to do, unfortunatly. A very sad case indeed. But have to question the rehoming centre a bit here. To have to resort to stabbing the creature would say it would possibly been quite a frenzied attack.

So sad.
