as an ex~pat yorkshireman now living in cornwall it's easier not having to think about snow, gosh it's so warm down here, still hardly had the heating on, it's 9~10 deg C today, and that's a lot warmer than ooop norf'.............

The forecast on the BBC last night said freezing fog for this morning, but they've given us clear blue skieswith light winds ... they did get the freezing right! .

Thankfully no snow in the central belt in Scotland, and as far as I know there is none on the immediate horizon. Fair play to @Supersuperleeds for going out in it, as there was a small flurry when I was out yesterday and it almost blinded me.

The view from my bedroom window this morning did catch me by surprise though.

8.9 inches on my outside table, in Shrewsbury and still coming down. We had 6 inches on Friday and about 3 more this morning! 1982 was the last time I saw snow this deep here and I was very young then!
