Nice, don't you think that house sparrows are getting less common, compared to about 30 years ago, too many cats perhaps, I quite like cats, but they do kill birds.

Well actually, I think they are closely related to the finches. English Sparrows are also called Spatze colloquially around here.

Not less common....the little ***** are all in our garden. Dozens of them .....along with loads of Pigeons.
