My winter bike is the same as my summer commuter, I put the geared best bike away when the clocks go back and don't get it out till the spring.

Tested on snow and ice over the last 6 winters.

Ice and snow bike. Shod with Schwalbe Snow Studs. Mudguards to keep the crud down on the trans pennine. Summer bikes above and behind.

Just needs a few odds and ends... Mudguards, chainring + bashguard (note the 160mm cranks) BMX cruiser class bars, thumbshifters and cantilevers.
