Love it. 2x10 SRAM X9, with Guide RS brakes, with a dropper post on the way !!!

Can't believe how much better/quicker it is on rough stuff, even on the flat (e.g. canal). Will do some real off road when the docs say so !!

As soon as I'm mended I'll be doing a bit in the Peaks then Llandegla. I picked up a brand new dropper for £75 via Ebay (Wiggle were the sellers) as it had a mark on the post. It's just for the silly steep stuff.

I can't believe how good hydraulic discs are, so incredibly light.

Not particularly impressive, but I bought this last year for when I want to just have a trundle about on the local Bridleways and Byways rather than have a 'proper' ride on the crosser. It's a Giant Talon 2, first MTB I've bought for probably 20 years and given the lack of challenging terrain round these parts, a short travel HT is ideal.
