Personally I think hi viz is cool at the moment

There does seem to be general confusion (not just on this thread) about hi viz vs reflective.

Fluorescent and reflective are the daytime and nightime forms of hi-vis.

The site I work at requires reflective strips in order to class it as hi-vis.
But yes mine is no good in low light levels, it needs full darkness and an additional light source. But it is brilliant, the first time I wore it drivers passed slower and wider. Remembering that I ride country roads at 4 am, I wish I could get matching leggings it might scare the behigus out of some!
