1960 Carlton Flyer...
Picked this up from Cornwall Air Ambulance after winning it on ebay for next to nowt.
It needs a respray, but at the price I paid it will still be cheap.
When I got it home.
Mock up of what it may end up looking like.
very nice indeed
Fingers crossed there is no terminal rot when I get it to Argos to be painted.
I got a MTB..!!! Is a Trek.. And is 2nd hand...
We are getting to new places..
I don't usually put my bikes on here but thought I'd do this one, as a before and after. Looked a bit lairy originally but now looks quite stylish, I'd even be tempted to say cool. If anyone is interested in buying any of those bits I took off, give me a shout. It's a Mango by the way.
My latest purchase is my shoes
Do they glow in the dark?
I had to google to find out who overbury's were only to discover their great reputation and see why its such a bargain. I suspect it was overlooked by many others for that reason. Don't forget to post the restored pictures.
Raleigh USA Technium Citysport commuter bike, made to be a city bike, and well engineered, with a mix of aluminum tubes heat bonded to Cr-Mo stays and head tube. Light, comfortable, stable, and in dire need of a complete renovation. In a condition of utter neglect and boundless promise as a day tourer.
Early 90s (thinking 1994?) Raleigh Dyna-Tech 300.
It's both quick (cos it's red) and cool (it's black) and it's stuck together with glue - love it!
Had this a few weeks but I didn't realise there was this thread to show them off. Rose CGF3000 with fancy wheels.
