Currently building up this 2003 Raleigh I bought recently (added my trusty old Brooks, sks mudguards, old pannier rack from my Dawes, plus some newish bars brakes and mechs I had lying around in my parts bin) Chainset ordered and on its way. Kept the wheels and shifters

Behold the Vorschlaghammer!

A Hendricks (German brand, part of Bergamont) CR660 City trekking bike. Shimano Nexus 8 speed hub gears, Shimano hub dynamo and Trelock dynamo lights with standlights. It's certainly no slinky carbon thing (16 kg!), but it rides smooth and it's a solid, beastie. I've fitted DMR V8 pedals, a Knog Oi bell, Ergon GP2 grips and alloy bottle cages.

This frame has been on ebay for a while, I knew it was not a Concept90 (already got one you see, it's very nice), but it was through a complete stroke of luck that I realised it was probably a Quantum 650 from 1996, so JIC, I bought it.

Lots of polishing to be done and parts to be sourced.
