I had one of those beer stem caps until i needed to tighten the headset mid ride! I had allen keys but no bottle opener!

If you had allen keys then you had a bottle opener - just about anything hard can be used to pop a cap off if you use your finger as a fulcrum. I rarely carry a bottle opener anywhere so mostly use my mobile phone to pop the cap when impromptu bottled beer fun arises.
