My tree is fairly small. It is a bit late/early now to take photos and load them. I am sure people will post their pics of trees later today.
I have not thought of putting tinsel vertically like that, looks good.

Our tree is the height of gaudy cheesiness this Year, bought just after Christmas last Year from Sainsbury's for the bargain price of a quid! it's so tacky (Gold) with blinking LED's everywhere that it desn't actually look too bad.
I'll try and get a snap up when I get home.

OK - here is ours:
Its real and dropping needles all over the place ....!!! we don't do subtle when it comes to the tree ... some of the "ornaments" are biscuits baked by my children and there is a letter to santa on there too.

I wasnt allowed either. I paid £50
for a fjellgran (looks like a Noble Fir to me).Next year, Dave, we'll just go and do it (on skis!).
