Unfortunately the strap is bust and a replacement costs a fortune

Messaged the seller and seeing what he says
Rocking my MoonSwatch today, I know they’re hideously overpriced but I’ve found it a perfect daily watch.

Awh bless xxx My first cat (cripes, that was nearly 30 years ago), was a lovely tabby & white boy who was dumped locally - before the branch of CP here was set up. He must've been abused, because while he showed he was friendly, you couldn't really touch him - poor sausage would run away, and he wouldn't come into the house. He was happy in my garage and had all his mod-cons in there.
ThanksI find that the mid 60s to mid 70s hits the sweet spot in looks. The people that compliments whichever watch I'm wearing think I'm funning them when I tell them they're over fifty years old. But really, you can't beat good classic design.
I have eighteen - not counting the ones I've inherited. Whoops! In my defence, the vast majority of the ones I have bought myself I do actually wear.
My taste in jewellery (when I do wear any) is pretty similar - clean lines and understated.
You're into watches Reynard,😉 so what do you think about this one?🤔 Yes, It's a ladies watch, but I think it looks nice on my slim wrist. So slim that on trying it on today, the bracelet was top big for me and needed adjusting.😉

Sorry, it's not my cup of tea, I'm afraid. I'm a very practical (and not overly girly) girl, so gems and chunky bracelets don't float my boat. It's just too blingy. But if it's what you like, then who am I to stop you?
I don't often wear a "dressy" watch. When I do, it's a rather understated vintage (1969) Longines.

I do like watches with bracelets, not so much leather wrist straps. In the past when I've had watches with leather wrist straps, when the bit where the strap goes through the buckle and sometimes wears down, it annoys me immensely!😉
I should add though, that I do *like* jewellery and I have some nice pieces, but all I wear on a daily basis is a chain with a locket and a St Christopher. Silver though, not gold. That's personal choice. My tastes run to understated and classic pieces, and the same is largely true of my watches.
I've just found this one. I quite like it. I wonder what its original price was?🤔
