A customer in the retro clothing shop I work in has just shown me a Longines 1960's, 9 carat gold watch she's just bought for £450 from Accrington Antiques.

IIRC that should have the same movement as mine, but that bracelet, yuck! :headshake:

It would've been originally supplied on either a brown or black lizard strap with matching gold buckle.

I like it but I already have two gold pocket watches. The other week I could've bought a JW Benson, 9 carat gold pocket watch, but didn't bother as pocket watches are ok, but showing them off is difficult.

Do you have gold alberts to go with them. When I was looking at gold pocket watch’s it was hard to find any decent chains as they all seem to have been melted down for scrap.

No, I don't have Albert chains on them. The 18 carat gold IWC pocket watch one has a 36 gram, 9 carat neck chain converted into a watch chain with a t-bar added on. The 18 carat Waltham pendent watch has a fine 9 carat chain.

Im surprised Accy bothers with this new fangled clockwork stuff. A wrist sundial or portable hourglass are more fitting for a gent of his breeding.
