Sick and tired of crap weather forecasts.

Just a rant,i watch and read the BBC weather forecasts and plan my rides as such.Well i have lost two days already this week.Where is todays rain then.Now 12-30 but just grey.Watching last nights weather forecast i expected an Ark outside my house this morning.I could have nipped to Otley for a brew.But no i took notice again and i am going crazy.Stuff the housework i am fed up of that.Well out tomorrow bugger it.

You should do what my wife does, she looks at several weather forecasts until she finds one she likes.

The (forecasters) here are pretty reliable, they tend to always predict doom and gloom, armaggeddon here but its never that bad

The radio and tv forecasts are so generalised as to be of little value.
Try some of these, enter your own locality and choose.

Look at the "probability of rainfall" on the sites, not necessarily the pretty pictures of clouds & sun as that is just binary.

Weather.com is very good for showing the chance of rain as a percentage.

i would like them to give more detailed info about the wind. Many tv reporters never even mention it.
.... your average tv doesnt like to talk about wind much i guess.

I have always used this chart on ShipsNostalgia.com, being an ex Merchant Navy boy (long time ago).
