After reading threads i'm finding out that i'm liking peoples signatures. They have points, motto's, some are even clever & also from the heart, So if you have a good'un ? just reply.... It will be quite interesting to read a few more, so would everyone else i'll imagine? Share/Express your Signature............... Thanks.

I have "view signatures" turned off. I have no idea what I'm saying down there, let alone what anyone else has. :giggle:

Edited to add: I've just turned them back on. I look forward to the enlightenment. :addict:

My current one is from the song "Bluebottle Blues" by the Goons. I have a silly sense of humour and an eclectic record collection.;)

Edit: For those who aren't logged in or have signatures turned off, the line is: "Picks up fractured kneecaps, replaces lug in lughole and exits through little hole in middle of record."

I thought it sounded very Goonish and kept meaning to ask you if it is.

Mine change as time goes by, but some have had the same sig since the C+ days or the early Cretaceous.
My current one is in honour of Sir Meat of Loaf.
I have been listening to Bat out of Hell a bit lately...

I'm gonna hit the highway like a battering ram, on a carbon fibre Uberbike.

Mine is the last verse of the poem 'Stopping by woods on a snowy evening' by Robert Frost

I liked the poem and it reminded me riding along roads through forests in Scotland last year. I think it's time to change for spring soon though

Full poem text: -

Whose woods these are I think I know.
His house is in the village though;
He will not see me stopping here
To watch his woods fill up with snow.

My little horse must think it queer
To stop without a farmhouse near
Between the woods and frozen lake
The darkest evening of the year.

He gives his harness bells a shake
To ask if there is some mistake.
The only other sound's the sweep
Of the easy wind and downy flake.

The woods are lovely, dark, and deep,
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.

I like to read the sigs, some are silly, some are interesting and some I can't figure out.
I change my signature at regular intervals, my present one is growing old is compulsory growing up isn't, a hint at my attitude. My last one was its been 40 years of pleasure 40 years of pain 40 years that have gone for ever and I'll never see again, a minor rewrite of a Guns n Roses song verse and a reference to how long I've been cycling.

The Gold star is for completing the Imperial Century a month challenge for 2011.
The SMRbtH is something I made up. It's the Saturday Morning Ride Back To Home after the Friday Night Ride To The Coast, as myself, Arallsopp, rb58, MartinT235 (and a few others now and again) always seem to ride back home rather then train it.
