Hello Fridays,

I promised to let you know when the new issue of Simpson was available - the one that includes the article about you lot and that rather soggy ride to Burnham on Crouch. Well it's finally out now, available from our website.

I would have told you about this when the mag was actually delivered on Friday, but I was driving up to Bakewell for the inaugural Eroica Britannia ride, which was a wonderful experience and something I think lots of you would enjoy, despite the fact it's staged in broad daylight *shudder*.

I really hope you enjoy the Fridays article and the mag in general. See you soon I hope!

The Simpson magazine is a fine publication, this edition in my opinion, is enhanced by the report on our dash to Burnham. The article sums up one of our typical Friday night spins really well. What came over clearly was that despite the character building/affirming (delete as applicable) weather The Fridays are a solid unit, pulling out all the stops, and despite a bit of drizzle or torrential downpour we can still make the best of things.

As a bonus there followed a postscript; a disquisition from the very fine hand of S Legg Esq., as ever, not to be missed

And there's still time to join a few of the (elite) Fridays riders on the dash to Dunwich

Southwold I think....and it won't be a dash (apart from the one to that first ferry.....).

Yay ... eventually got round to ordering a copy and .... I think I'm in it! Top RH corner of page, a ghostly apparition alongside his Leggship?
