Singlespeed chain - bulk purchase

I use a KMC 1/2 inch chain on my bike with an Alfine 8 hub. I'd like to know if anyone can suggest or recommend a source for buying the chain length in bulk rather than an individual chain each time.

Apologies for the newbie question/thread diversion, but when it comes to single speed chains, do you maintain them in the same way as any other?

i.e decide whether you are in the Mickle camp or the degrease and re-lube camp and crack on, check for wear with a chain checker/steel ruler and replace every couple of thousand miles or whenever worn to .75? Can you still use a quick link on a single speed?

Thanks.I wasn't sure if the different chain tension on a single speed precluded a quick link and/or meant extra adjustments to keep it running smoothly.
