What I heard on the grapevine is:
single woman with cat(s) = spinster (that's me!)
single man with cat(s) = gay (with some exceptions, of course

The worst thing about being single is my bed sheets don't get magically changed once a week or so... instead... i have to do it myself at least once a year!

From my observations, large dogs like Alsatians are walked by small 5 year olds and tiny dogs are walked by 6'6" rugby player types.
