I think he deserves one but wait until he retires. Being a knight must be very grand for a sportsman. It must emphasize a barrier between himself and his team mates and rivals. Give him the next one down for now, OBE isn't it?

Those people are more deserving in many ways but if we gave them out to every trauma surgeons, doctors, nurses, charity workers they would become commonplace.NO sports person should get them. Keep them for people that make a difference to peoples lives, and by that I mean a real life changing difference, there are plenty of trauma surgeons, doctors, nurses, charity workers etc etc that are far more deserving. They give them away far to willy nilly if you ask me.
Exactly. Have you ever felt a tennis ball? They're really very light and it takes virtually no strength at all to hit it as far as the other end of a tennis court. I fail to see the acheivement. I could easily win W'don if I wanted to, but I don't.Yeah, it looked like a piece of **** to me too.
