Never been a fan (nor do I suffer from any other mental illness) but you have to raise a hat to a man who apparently during his recent Sheffield gig dedicated The Young Ones to 'anyone under 76'.
You're right! I take it all back! The hell with you, Richards (74 & 51 weeks)!He's 74.
Musically he lost the plot somewhere in the early 60s.
I most vehemently disagree!
He never had the plot. He was always a botoxed version of Elvis, who in turn was a rip-off of the black musicians* in the Southern States.
*Not entirely Elvis's fault. The record companies were desperate to find white equivalents to black stars (Chubby Checker for Fats Domino being one of the most blatant).
Musically or otherwise, nearly everything anyone has ever done has been at least inspired and often partially copied from something else.
Great video too, he does all his own stunts.Wired for Sound is a cracking tune! As is Move it.... but that's about it.
You're about £54 million too late according to 2014 estimates.Musically he lost the plot somewhere in the early 60s.
