Well done Sir Ken, richly deserved after decades of service to comedy. I mean real comedy. Not made by others misfortunes.

Mother & Father in law saw him a few times, often at local village events, he used to bring his sandwiches onto the stage & then eat them whilst performing, he would also have the bus & train schedules & would tell everybody what time they had to leave to catch train/bus, his 2 hour slot would often go on for 4 hours. On one occasion the theatre manager had to go up onto the stage to ask him to stop his performance as they had gone over the cut-off time of the license of the theatre & he was worried they'd get into trouble, he'd been due to finish at 22:30 & this was 23:30.
