Well, I'm back. I was wrong for the Italy v Scotland gane - Scotland seemed to 'do a France' and just not turn up and play to their potential.
Alain Roland did his best.
France were much improved although their impetus was stalled by daft penalties here and there, along with a tough Wales effort.
Jonathan Kaplan is not my favourite referee - he would share the same sinking boat as 'Love me' Steve Walsh.
And England's forwards really squeezed the life from Ireland's pack, commiting their back row to scrummaging in vain - a good head to head contest at times.
Nigel Owens refereed sympathetically, although he seemed to miss a few knock ons etc (Armchair ref speaketh) - and, apart from the total obliteration of the Irish pack, Morgan was once again a 'flipping nuisance' when he had the ball in his mitts.
Porridge sticks to wood very well.
My three 'predictions' were all wrong.
Roll on next year, and, inbetween times we'll know who resigns / retires / is selected / appointed and we can all go for a ride as the sun might shine.
