Size of bike - advice needed

I've seen a road bike which is 17" with an 18" top tube, 700 wheels which isn't the best but would be a bit newer than my old one which is too large for me.

Can anyone advise me if at 5.2", that might be too small? I have shorter back/longer legs (and female, so probably shorter arms). There seems to be decent stem to give you a bit of reach. Any advice please?

Don't want to spend too much, so this might be ideal.

Can you get a test ride ? Whatever the formulas or other people say that is the only foolproof way to know for sure. IMHO it sounds a reasonable size but frames are a very individual thing.

It's on Ebay so not sure if it will be around when I am able to try. I could ask I suppose, as it's about 15 miles away. It's a Revolution bike, which not high level, would be adequate for my needs, being a bit faster than a MTB with sort of road tyres, for road rides and a bit easier too. Thanks, I had thought about a 19" one but none has turned up within the price range I want to spend.

20 or 21 in for your height, this is measurement for bike with horizontal top- tube.- the modern new fangled sloping top tube frames woujld be less, probably by 2 about inches.
