but the medium is very close on Stack and Reach t..... and the small is very close on Reach and could fit the stack with a couple of understem spacers

No time I was looking at the TT and HT. he has back issues so maybe he finds a higher HT better.
Spacers depends on whether he has enough steerer tube?
I'd just keep looking for a bike that actually meets the size needs

I went for XL - if its not going to fit - lets make damn sure it doesn't fit.

Only joking went small after a ride a friends Defy in small - which felt quite nice albeit was only a 10 minute ride.

Yes that blue is the base colour - other colours are an extra £300. The blue looks nice enough for an old man.

some deep section wheels will set it off a treat.
