sizing

As we are no having to buy online, i need some advice on frame sizing,
im 6ft , 183 cm ,
so i was looking at frame sizes at 51.5 cm ,
but the bike i was really interested in was a 54cm frame.

would this be ok?

At 6ft i would have thought you need to go bigger, 56cm would be closer.

I'd regard both as ridiculously small for a 6ft tall bloke. I'm very nearly as tall as you and my road frames are 23"-23 1/2" sized.

What bikes? What measurement is being used to size, They do sound small for a 6 footer if the top tube or seat tube

But which bike do you like? MTB are usually size Medium or large or in inches eg 19”

well i've gone for this model, only as i hired one in ibiza and it was a good ride, and looking at my previous evans order , the last bike i bought was the smaller frame, so this should be ideal.
