In our skidding game, played every week after scouts on a nearby square of footpath, maybe 30' a side, you had to cut the other rider up by a wall or at the edge of the kerb, then 'hold' him there. He had to track stand until either you couldn't stay still anymore, and were forced to give up and swoop away, releasing him, or he was forced to either put a hand on the wall or a foot down.
