I was was overtaken on the ring road path today (fairly normal anyway but I was taking it slightly easier due to the temps today), and I carried on following him, and watched him brake to cross the road at the Hambrook lights, and instead slip a couple of feet into the road.

Noticed him do the motorway slip roads far more cautiously after that. I think the morning temps are likely to be similar the rest of the week, so finally prompted me to put the spiked tyres on the bike today.

I was conscious of this too, had a wheelspin climbing a little hill then a descent to a T-junction which I took very gently and unclipped so I could bail out if required !
