I have to agree with dz's opening post, the plot wass thinner than the sellotape that held the movie sequences together. It felt to me like they were scenes cobbled together without continuity if that makes sense, almost like adverts segued together, strong on Image and weak everywhere else. There was no soul to the movie, few one liners where there was plenty opportunity, the dialogue was stunted and the acting perfunctory at best. Worst of all, the CIA was mentioned as a source of intelligence and no sight of Felix Lighter! Don't know what's hapened to Craig, he just seemed to be playing the numbers, Casino Royale was a great film and probably my fave Bond, but Skyfall is weak in all areas (except the obvious product placement - btw, (geek alert) why do all the gov't cars have Oxfordshire plates!).
So it's a Skyfail for me and the the theme tune and performance of it is a stinker.
