Sleeping issues

you're not alone. i'm useless at the art of sleeping . i have to listen to youtube rabble every night to get off to sleep. i then wake up at 0230am every night and it can take me 1 or 2 hrs to get back to sleep.
i've to use ear plugs as i can't stand the sound of my GFs heavy breathing and odd sleeping noises.
all in all sleeping is a poor experience for me. it probably doesn't help that i watch TV right up until i go to bed
i think i need to start reading or something, less screen time like half an hr before bed
exercise it obviously good to tire you out
as for the feeling vulnerable, if you have locked all the doors and closed the windows you will be secure. i'd turn the lights out too, try just listening to your ambient sounds.
how many hrs solid sleep would you get a night anyway?
