Sleeping Mat Recommendations

Oldest daughter has the Decathlon mat mentioned upthread which she used for DofE, camping and touring. It’s good, but not as good as the Thermarests that we also have. I have a 3/4 self inflating one and another full length Trekking one which is 3” thick when inflated. Both store to the size of a beer can.

Taking into account comments from @Heltor Chasca I have decided to but the thermorest mat from @fossala. It will get used by my daughter as well as my son should be worth the cost. Thanks for all who have contributed to the thread.

Saw a load of lost Duke of Edinburgh kids practising Nav today as I was out on the bike. They were clearly lost and were very restrained in not asking me where they were as I said hello whilst passing.

Women version is slightly shorter than the mens full length thus lighter and slightly smaller pack size.
