Not bad here on the coast. (for now) Cold and windy, but thats a normal day!

Is there much snow up your way?

I don't normally leave for work till about a quarter past nine, even at that time the road outside the house was like glass, the rest of the commute is on main roads except for the cycle paths by the Bermuda Park Ind Est, the cycle paths were like glass as well, my first taste of winter this year.

Yes. Add in glasses when it is raining or sleeting.

Worse is standing there in the cold wondering if a bus will turn up!

Not that bad yet but it was hailing fairly heavily about 6 am while i was coming home along my country lane route , my back brake was not fully opening every time i braked....
I had put the magicshine battery velcro over the cable rather than around it :laugh:

I did commute all winter last year except for when the cycle path i use turned into frozen compacted snow , - 13 is a bit chilly .
